3-A step-down regulator
offers wide input range
Capable of handling an 8 to 50 V input range, the 3-A A8498 step-down regulator requires an external clamping diode, inductor, and filter capacitor. Typical blanking time is 200 ns, and the output voltage is adjustable from 0.8 V to 24 V based on a resistor divider and the 0.8 V ±3% reference.
Housed is in an eSOIC-8L package and the off-time is determined by an external resistor. ($0.76 ea/10,000�prod qty, 12 weeks ARO.)
