3-ch boost LED driver offers up to 100 mA/ch
The three-channel SC446 HB LED driver with an integrated 2.5-A boost power switch can drive up to 36 HB LEDs at up to 100 mA per channel. The part operates across an input voltage range of 4.5 to 27 V, making it ideal for use with automotive batteries or regulated 5-, 12-, or 24-V power supplies.
Features include an efficiency of greater than 92%, an output voltage up to 42 V, and PWM dimming up to 50-kHz. Housed in a 16-pin TSSOP-EP package, the SC446 features current sinks that are rated up to 40 V. ($1.65 ea/2,500 — available now.)
