Addressing applications where users need 3-D representation, the SD1710 stereoscopic monitor system joins two 17-in. AMLCD monitors in an up/down configuration at a 110° angle with a semitransparent mirror positioned at a bisecting angle such that the resulting image can be viewed with polarizing glasses to generate the stereo image. Features include SXGA resolution, a 12-ms response time, 2-D operation, and a brightness of 70 nits (through glasses).

Measuring 18.7 x 23.3 x 19.5 in. and weighing 33 lb, the 3-D LCD accepts 24-pin DVI input and supports OpenGL and DirectX stereo applications. (From $3,995�available now.)
