Measuring 0.5 x 0.5 in., the CVCO55CC VCO operates from 2,970 to 3,230 MHz with a control-voltage range of 0.5 to 4.5 V. This VCO features a typical phase noise of 104 dBc/Hz at 10-kHz offset.

Housed in a 0.5 x 0.5-in SMD package, the part features an input voltage of 5.0 V, with a max current consumption of 35 mA. Pulling and pushing are minimized to 1.5 and 3 MHz/V, respectively. Second-harmonic suppression is –20 dBc typ. ($19.52 ea/prod qty—available now.)
