The NPApm servo drive supports two ±10-V three-phase AC synchronous motors with sine-wave current commutation. The unit will operate from 12 to 100 Vdc, and four versions support drive currents up to 13.3 A continuous.
The drive’s three-phase bridge uses a PWM frequency of 20 kHz with a PI digital filter that has gains selected by a four-position DIP-switch or programmed by a PC. It features proprietary PWM technology that improves stand-still jitter and tracking error performance. The drive has protection for over- and under-voltage, phase-to-phase and phase-to-ground short, over-current, and over-temperature.
