The AstraLED 3-W RGB LED occupies a footprint of 10 x 16 mm on a circuit board, with a height of 3.3 mm. It can deliver light intensities of 8 (red), 25 (green), and 20 lm (blue) with input currents of 300, 350, and 350 mA, respectively.
The user-tunable light source has an operating temperature of −30 to 85C, and units are available in tubes for automatic insertion. The RoHS-compliant LEDs can withstand standard lead-free reflow-soldering temperatures up to 260C. (About $4 ea/prod qty stock to 8 weeks ARO, depending on qty.)
