The AM30EW-Z 30-W dc/dc converter packs 15-W/in.2 in a 2 x 1-in. package. It provides 4:1 input ranges of 9 to 36 and 18 to 75 Vdc, features soft-start and targets applications with loosely regulated inputs or battery-powered designs with input voltages that vary greatly with the battery charge.
The converter series offers 1,600-Vdc I/O isolation to protect the load circuit from transient voltage surges at the input of the converter. Single, dual, and triple outputs include 3.3, 5, 5.1, 12, and 15 Vdc, and feature ±0.5% single-output load regulation and continuous short-circuit protection with auto-recovery restart. It also provides cold-start-up temperature of –40°C and meets IEC 61000-4, EN55022 Class A and EN55024 specifications. ($40.34 ea/100 — available now.)
