30-W dc/dc converter offered in DOSA 32nd-brick

The CPZ 30W brick series of dc/dc converters provide a DOSA standard 32nd-brick footprint. These modules target space constrained distributed power and intermediate bus converter applications, including net¬working and telecommunications, data-processing, railway, military, medical and aerospace equipment. The converter is offered in a 2:1 input voltage range from 36 to 75 Vdc and output voltages of 1.8 V at 12 A, 3.3 V at 8 A, 5.0 V at 5 A and 12 V at 2.5 A.

The dc/dc converter module features 88% typ efficiency for the 5–V model and provides full output power at 75°C and 200–lfm airflow. It meets EN 60950 basic insulation requirements and provides 1,500–Vdc input-to-output isolation. The module complies with industry requirements including no load operation and pre-biased load startup. Other features include fixed-frequency operation, auto-restart, and over-voltage, over-current, and over-temperature protections. It also has under-voltage lockout, remote sense and +10/–20% output voltage trim. Remote on/off is standard with positive or negative logic options available.
