32-bit MCU fits into tiny 2 x 2-mm package

The LPC1102 32-bit MCU is based on the Cortex-M0 processor and yields unprecedented computing power in 5 mm2 of PCB area. It has 32 Kbytes of flash and 8 Kbytes of RAM, and its wafer-level chip-scale package (WL-CSP) is 2.17 x 2.32 mm with a thickness of 0.6 mm.

The IC features active-mode current as low as 130 µA/MHz, and it has a four-channel 10-bit A/D converter, UART and SPI ports, two 32-bit and two 16-bit timers, and one 24-bit system timer. Eleven I/O functions double as GPIO for flexibility. The chip has an internal IRC oscillator, accurate to ±1% over the industrial temperature range.
