32-bit MCU meets automotive safety standards

The SPC56EL70 32-bit dual core Power Architecture microcontroller combines compliance with automotive safety integrity levels, including the most stringent ASIL D level, and 768 Kbytes to 2 Mbytes of flash with ECC. The 120 MHz device has 192 Kbytes of SRAM and a dual issue five-stage pipeline. It features Sphere of Replication for the CPU core, eDMA, and crossbar switch.

The chip has built-In self-test, two LINFlexD channels, three DSPI channels, three FlexCAN interfaces, and a FlexRay module. It operates form -40° to 125°C and has two 12-bit A/D converters and a sine wave generator. ($16.56 ea/500 – samples available now).
