The RX62T group of 32-bit MCUs provides energy-saving performance for motor-control and inverter-control applications. The 80- or 100-MHz ICs take only 0.5 mA/MHz in full active mode and have up to 256 Kbytes of no-wait flash, and 16 Kbytes of RAM.
The chips have an MTU3 multifunction timer-pulse unit, which can control up to two three-phase motors and a 16-bit general-purpose PWM timer capable of driving a third three-phase motor. They have a single-precision FPU, two 12-bit A/D converters, one 20-channel 10-bit A/D converter with 1-µs conversion time, three programmable gain amplifiers, and three window comparators.
