The PIC32 family of 32-bit MCUs is now available with USB 2.0 On-The-Go (OTG). The chips include a USB OTG PHY, and the family’s maximum operating frequency has been increased to 80 MHz.
The chips feature peripheral and software compatibility with 16-bit MCU and DSC families, and free source code for USB software stacks and class drivers is available. (128-Kbyte flash, 100-pin PIC32MX440F128L, $4.65 ea/10,000—samples available now.)
