32-bit MCUs handle encryption, authentication
The SAM9M11 and SAM9G46 ARM926-based MCUs feature a hardware encryption engine that supports the leading industry standards. The devices also have a true random number generator and provide three high-speed USB host/device ports with transceivers and a 10/100 Ethernet MAC.
The SAM911 includes universal video decoder for up to 30 frames/s at D1 or WVGA resolutions. Both devices have an STN and TFT LCD controller, a ITU-R BT. 601/656 image sensor interface, an 8-channel 10-bit A/D controller with four-wire touchscreen support, two memory card hosts, two SPI interfaces, and a four-channel 16-bit PWM.
