Targeting remote and supervisory control of industrial devices and building-management systems, the V850ES/Jxx-E 32-bit MCUs include six 128-pin (JH3-E) and three 144-pin (JJ3-E) variants. They feature an 10/00 Ethernet MAC, up to 512 Kbytes of flash and up to 124 Kbytes of RAM.
The ICs run on 2.85 to 3.6 V at 50 MHz, yielding 103 DMIPS, and have full-speed USB 2.0 and CAN interfaces. The also have a motor control timer, a 10-bit A/D converter, and a real-time counter. (V850ES/JJ3-E with 512 Kbytes of flash and 124 Kbytes of RAM, $12 ea/sample — production December.)
