The FM3 MB9A310 and MB9A110 series of 32-bit MCUs are built around a 40-MHz Cortex M3 core and have 64 to 512 Kbytes of zero wait-state NOR flash memory. The 310 series comes with USB 2.0, and both types have up to 32 Kbytes of SRAM and an external memory bus.
The devices have UART, CSIO, LIN, I2 C I/O, an eight-channel DMA, and a 12-bit A/D converter with up to 16 channels. The processors have one or two 16-bit quadrature position/revolution counter units and operate from 2.7 to 5.5 V at –40° to 85°C. They typically take 28 mA in full operation.
