32-bit MCUs target industrial control

The RX63T group of 32-bit MCUs feature higher pin counts and larger memory and targets reduce system costs and power consumption in applications like industrial motor control and solar inverters. The MCUs have USB 2.0, a 10-bit D/A converter, and dual 0.5-µs 12-bit A/D converters.

The 100-MHz processors achieve 165 DMIPS performance with 256 to 512 Kbytes of zero wait state flash and up to 48 Kbytes of SRAM. They have a single precision 32-bit IEEE-754 floating-point unit and operate from a single 2.7 to 3.6-V supply over –40° to +85°C. ($4.10 ea/10,000 — samples available now.)
