32-bit MCUs target inverters, motor drives

The V850E/IG4 and V850E/IH4 32-bit flash MCUs target inverter- and motor-control applications such as air conditioners, solar-panel power systems, appliances, and factory-automation. The ICs run at 100 MHz and have up to 480 Mbytes of flash.

The devices have dual enhanced timers with six PWM outputs each and USB with DMA control. They come in 100- and 128-pin packages and have 20 A/D converter channels, six programmable op amps, and 12 comparators. ($13.40 to $15.75 ea/10,000 — prod qty, Dec.)
