The Quark SoC X1000 processor is a 32-bit small core product targeted at portable, IoT, wearable, applications. It brings low power and Intel architecture capabilities along with security and manageability features, plus AMBA Bus fabric flexibility and -40° to 85°C operation.
The 400 MHz IC features 1.9 – 2.2W TDP, a synthesizable core, secure boot, extended lifecycle support, and support for 2 Gbytes of external memory with ECC. The single-core, single-threaded SoC offers PCI Express, USB 2.0 and two Ethernet interfaces, plus SD/SDIO/eMMC card interfaces, SPI, UART, and GPIO ports. It comes in a 15 x 15 mm package with large 0.593 ball pitch.
