3rd-gen Core i5/i7 CPUs use 3D transistors

The third-generation Intel Core vPro processors provide improved security and graphics performance and are manufactured using 22 nm with 3D Tri-Gate transistors. They feature Secure Key, with new AES instructions that protects media, data, and assets from loss, and OS Guard that detects and prevents malware.

The Core i7-3770, Core i5-3550S, Core i7-3610QE, Core i7-3615QE, and Core i7-3612QE target intelligent systems, including embedded processing. Each of the processors provide support for up to three independent displays and have improved graphics and media performance. They use either the HM76 Express or B75 Express chipset and are an easy upgrade from the previous generation. Some versions support error-correcting memory. (From $205 available now.)
