3U CompactPCI boards have PowerPC CPU

The convection-cooled F50P SBC 3U CompactPCI SBC, and the conduction-cooled F50C version feature either a MPC8548 or MPC8543 PowerPC CPU running at up to 1.5 GHz, up to 2 Mbytes of SDRAM, 2 Mbytes of nonvolatile SRAM, 128 Kbits of nonvolatile FRAM, and up to 16 Gbytes of solid-state disk storage.

The cards’ front- and rear-connection I/O options include four USB ports, up to three 10/100/1000Base-T Ethernet channels, and up to two SATA ports. (F50C, from $1,637; F50P, $2,322 6 weeks ARO.)
