ZNB series 4.5- and 8.5-GHz vector network analyzers are now available with four ports. Two internal signal sources and a frequency-convertion mode enable comprehensive measurement of mixers or amplifiers, as well as balanced DUTs such as mobile-phone SAW filters using mixed-mode S-parameter measurements without external baluns. Measurements are displayed in realtime; external postprocessing is not needed.
The four-port analyzers can also measure high-blocking duplex filters, couplers, splitters, or isolators with a single connection. Users can determine virtually any secondary measured quantities, including crosstalk between ports. Dynamic range is more than 140 dB and output power goes to +13 dBm.
