40-V boost regulator has 2-MHz PWM

The MIC2601/2 wide-input range integrated switch boost regulators are aimed at multimedia STB/antenna/tuners, broadband communications, TFT-LCD bias supplies, bias supplies, positive output regulators, SEPIC converters, DSL applications and local boost regulators. The MIC2601 operates at 1.2 MHz and the MIC2602 at 2 MHz. Both can supply up to 1.2-A switch current.

These devices operate from input voltages from 4.5 to 20 V and boost output voltages to 40 V. The regulators also feature a built-in 1.2-A switch. Both devices are available in a 2 x 2-mm MLF-8 package. (From $1.14 ea/1,000 — available now.)
