40-V instrumentation amp integrates ADC driver

The 40-V ISL28617 precision instrumentation amplifier is offered as the first of its kind with an integrated A/D converter (ADC) level shifter and driver. Unlike competing amplifiers, this part provides both high gain (10,000x) and attenuation (0.1x) required in flexible data acquisition systems.

The amplifer has a differential output to easily interface to today’s highest performance differential input ADCs. It features include an operating voltage range of ±4 to ±20 V, an input offset of 30 μV, a CMRR and PSRR of 120 dB. Noise measures only 8.6nV/√Hz at 1 kHz and 85 nVrms from 0.1 to 10 Hz. Housed in a 24-lead TSSOP package, the part operates over a temperature range from –40° to 125°C (ea/1,000,from $2.85 — available now)
