400-mA SMT HB LEDs come in amber, yellow

Available in CLCC-2 flat ceramic packages, the amber VLMK82.. and yellow VLMY82.. SMT LEDs handle driving currents up to 400 mA. The robust light-efficient devices have low thermal resistance (20 K/W) for thermal-sensitive applications and service lives of up to 50,000 hours.

Using AlInGaP technology, the amber LEDs offer optical power from 7,100 to 14,000 mcd and a typical luminous flux of 28,000 mlm, while yellow LEDs provide from 5,600 to 11,200 mcd and a luminous flux of 26,000 mlm. Both LEDs feature optical efficiency of 40 lm/W at 100 mA and 60° half-intensity angle. ($0.65 — available 8 weeks ARO.)
