400-W convection cooled supply suits medical uses

The CCL400 series of 400 W convection-cooled ac/dc power supplies offer a typical efficiency up to 94% and a flat efficiency curve over most of the load range. The supplies do not require forced air cooling. The components run at low temperatures. They can continuously deliver the 400 W output with convection cooling from -40° to +50°C. Conduction cooling if offered and enables 400-W across the entire input range and up to +70°C ambient temperature.

The power supplies feature four single-output models that provide nominal output voltages of +12, +24, +30 or +48 Vdc. Protection features and control signals include power fail signal, remote sense and remote on/off. A +5 Vdc / 0.5 A always-on output is available to power logic circuits. Typical applications include medical systems such as life support, imaging and blood processing equipment.
