400-W convection-cooled supply targets medical use

The CCL400 series of convection cooled 400-W ac/dc power supplies feature a 94%typical efficiency and a flat efficiency curve over most of the load range. The supply delivers the 400-W output with convection cooling from -40° to +50°C and can be conduction cooled, enabling the 400-W operation to +70°C ambient temperature.

The power supply comprises 4 single-output models that provide the popular nominal output voltages of +12, +24, +30 or +48 Vdc. A user trim function provides output voltage adjustment of ±3%. The series conforms to the ANSI/AAMI ES60601-1 medical 3rd edition safety standard and also complies with the internationally recognized IEC/UL/EN60950-1 safety standard for IT equipment. Typical applications include medical systems such as life support, imaging and blood processing equipment.
