The PSA45A-200Q 45-W USB power adapter charges a wide variety of mobile electronic devices and peripherals, including mobile phones, tablets, notebook computers, monitors, and networking devices. It features the latest USB 3.1 Type-C receptacle. Compliant with the USB Power Delivery Specification, the adapter can add up to 20 V to the USB Power Delivery Profile 3 output voltage, delivering 5 or 12 V at 3 A or 20 V at 2.5 A, depending on its USB communication with the powered device.
The 45-W adapter is compliant with the USB power delivery 2.0 standards, in addition to US DOE Level VI (which will go into effect February 2016), and European Union Code of Conduct (CoC) V5 Tier 2 high-efficiency standards. It is available in two different versions to suit the North American and European input voltages. The adapter is also certified to IEC/EN/UL 60950-1 safety specifications, and has built-in over-voltage, over-current, short-circuit, and over-temperature protections. The adapter measures 2.64 x 1.84 x 1.4 in. and weighs 5.82 oz. and has operating temperatures from 0˚ to +45˚C.
