5.8-GHz transceiver integrates PA

Housed in a 40-pin QFN package, the 5.8-GHz ML5805 ISM band transceiver with an integrated power amplifier and LNA is designed to operate in the license-free 5.8-GHz ISM band. The part gives radio designers the flexibility to optimize each application by offering five digitally selectable data rates ranging from 576 kbits/s up to 2.048 Mbits/s.

Its power amplifier delivers 21-dBm typ output power. Features include a receive sensitivity to −97 dBm at 0.1% bit BER, improved fractional-N synthesizer performance with 30-Hz resolution, and a three-wire serial control interface.
