5-in. LCD has LED backlight, 4-wire touch

The LQ050W1LA0A 5.0-in.-diagonal landscape-mode TFT-LCD incorporates an LED backlight, a four-wire resistive touch panel, and fine pixel pitch, suiting it for applications such as GPS and mapping, as well as instrumentation applications like oscilloscopes.

Using an LVDS interface that supplies 3.3 Vdc for panel driving and backlight operation, graphics and text can be displayed on a 1,024 x 600-pixel (15:9 aspect ratio) panel with 262,144 colors. The display provides 350-nit brightness, a 450:1 contrast ratio, and ±70° (H), +50°/-60° (V) viewing angles. Operating range is 0° to 60°C. (Single sample, $169 — samples available now.)
