The AWT-480800T50N02 5.0-in. TFT LCD module provides true portrait mode orientation with a view cone designed for native portrait mode applications. The WVGA (480 x 800-pixel) display has typical viewing angles of 70°, 24-bit color depth (16.7 million colors), 300-nit-minimum LED backlight, and 500:1 contrast ratio.
The LCD also comes with a high-speed serial and a 24-bit TTL Sync/DE mode interface, and operates over a wide temperature range of −20 to 60C. The display is optionally available with a projective-capacitive or four-wire-resistive touch panel. (About $20 available now.)
