You can mount a camera to just about anything— stick one on your helmet, strap one to your dog, or even attach it to your surfboard. Ever wonder what kind of crazy things mounted cameras can capture?
Dashboard cameras or “dashcams” are cameras that get mounted to the dashboard of your vehicle and sometimes they capture some pretty interesting events.
Just this week, a TransAsia Airways plane hit a bridge and crashed into a river in Taipei, and a dashcam was close enough to capture the event in vivid detail.

One company that has gained a lot of attention for its wearable and mountable cameras is GoPro. GoPro cameras are often used in extreme-action video photography.
