The PSA05A 5-W, fixed-blade, USB power adapter targets personal electronics. It is compliant with North American input voltages and has a Level V efficiency compliant output of 5 Vdc and 1 A, which suits charging lithium-ion batteries in small devices with touchscreens, including smartphones, tablets, e-readers, GPS, and media players.

The 5-W USB wall charger is equipped with overvoltage, overcurrent, and short-circuit protection. It has a no-load power draw of less than 0.03 W. The wall plug also features a 5-Star standby power rating, as well as safety approvals from UL and cUL. It measures 2.29 x 1.69 x 0.83 in. and weighs 3 oz.
