The VS-50TPS12L-M3 50-A, 1,200-V phase control thyristor features 20-mm long leads in a TO-247 package. For power switching applications, it provides a medium-power option in the 3-lead through-hole package.
The thyristor suits line rectification, soft start motor control, and temperature control in UPS units, welding equipment, power converters, industrial battery chargers, and solid-state relays. The single SCR device features a surge current to 630 A, while its glass passivation technology provides reliable operation to a junction temperature of +150°C. The dV/dt of 1,000 V/µS provides increased EMI immunity.
