50-MHz 32-bit MCUs have 259 Kbytes of flash

The PIC32MX170F256B and PIC32MX270F256B 32-bit microcontrollers have 259 Kbytes of flash and 64 Kbytes of RAM and are part of a family with as little as 19 Kbytes of flash and 4 Kbytes of RAM. They come in 28- (6 x 6 mm), 36-, and 44-pin packages and the MX270 version includes a USB 2.0 OTG port.

The MCUs have a 50 MHz MIPS32 M4K core and take 0.5 mA/MHz dynamic current (typical). They have DMA, an audio interface with I2 S, LJ, RJ, and DSP modes, five timers with capture/compare, and a 9-input 10-bit 1-Ms/s A/D converter and a charge time measurement unit that supports mTouch control. They use a 2.3 to 3.6 V supply and are available for -40º to 105ºC operation. From $1.91 ea./10,000.
