The MIM 50R series dc/dc converter modules target railway applications. They are designed for powering video surveillance equipment on trains, and are also suitable for a wide range of mobile environments.
The converters are housed in compact 66 x 38 x 163-mm vented enclosures, weigh 400 g, and are designed to be chassis-mounted. They operate from 40° to 70°C cold-plate temperature range without derating. Cooling is via baseplate to a heat-sinking surface and by natural convection. Nominal input voltages are 24, 48, 72, 96, or 110 Vdc with and deliver single outputs of 12 or 24 Vdc. ($100 ea/large qty available now.)
