500-V high-Q cap suits high-frequency apps

The GQM22 series is said to be the first 500-V-rated high Q monolithic ceramic capacitor with base metalelectrodes. Designed for high-frequency applications such as power amplifiers for base stations, the capacitor provides low ESR and does not require characteristic adjustments, a common problem associated with base metal electrode high-voltage capacitors.

The 2.8 x 2.8 x 1.15-mm capacitor features values from 0.5 to 100 pF and offers tight-tolerances with capacitance tolerances of B (±0.1 pF) and C (±0.25 pF), a 40% improvement over the J (within ±5%) or D (±0.5 pF) devices in the GSM Series. (Samples $0.35 to $1.11 — stock to 12 weeks ARO.)
