6 to 18-GHz coupler meets MIL demands

The 4246B-10 stripline coaxial microwave coupler delivers 10 dB of coupling from 6 to 18 GHz, has an extremely flat frequency response, and meets military requirements. The coupler handles 50 W of average power and 3 kW of peak power, has directivity of at least 15 dB, insertion loss of 2.5 dB or less, VSWR of 1.4:1, frequency sensitivity of ±0.5 dB or better, and maximum deviation from nominal of ±11 dB.

The compact module measures 1.4 x 0.66 x 0.42 in, weighs 0.9 oz. and, operates over –54° to 105°C without performance degradation. (Call company for pricing — available now.)
