The NCS6 series of isolated 6-W dc/dc converters have a 4:1 input and a single output suited for use in telecommunications, battery-powered systems, process control, and distributed-power systems. They are available with 9 to 36 V (12 V nominal) and 18 to 75 V (48 V nominal) input voltage ranges, both with undervoltage lockout.
Single-output voltages of 3.3, 5, 12, and 15 V are available. The converter achieves a 0.94-W/cm3 power density with efficiency levels from 73%. The encapsulated metal case helps provide EMI shielding and thermal protection. The series specifies 1.5-kVdc isolation and has typical load line regulation of 0.006%.
