6-W converters target medical applications

The MA600MHI series is a family of compact, 6-W dc/dc converters approved to both EN 60950 and EN 60601. They are specifically designed to meet the isolation, reinforced insulation and low leakage requirements of medical grade equipment.

The dc/dc converter series offers twelve models that operate from 2:1 inputs of 9 to 18, 18 to 36, and 36 to 75 Vdc, providing single and dual outputs of 5, 12, ±12, or ±15 Vdc. Standard features include an I/O isolation of 4,000 Vac rms, efficiency to 80%, 2 µA maximum leakage current, and input filtering that meets EN 55022 class A. Other features include continuous short circuit protection, input under voltage shutdown and overload protection.
