625-ksample/s ADC offers wide bandwidth

Suited for automated test equipment, medical instrumentation, vibration analysis, and sonar/military equipment, the 24-bit, 625-ksample/s ADS1672 delta-sigma A/D converter offers a 305-kHz bandwidth, 107-dB dynamic range (625 ksamples/s), 116-dB dynamic range (78 ksamples/s), -115-dB THD, 3-ppm integral nonlinearity, 2-μV/°C offset drift, and 2-ppm/°C gain drift.

Operating over the industrial temperature range of –40° to 85°C, the part also features a selectable serial interface, either LVDS or CMOS, an operating supply voltage of 5 V analog and 3 V digital, and a power dissipation of 350 mW. ($11.75 ea/1,000 — available now.)
