The ARM Cortex-A35 high efficiency ARMv8-A 64-bit processor core is intended for mid-to-upper level cell phone, tablet, and embedded applications. It features a complete set of cryptography features and is the successor to the compact-footprint Cortex-A7.
The core delivers an average of 20% greater performance and efficiency across a range of 32-bit mobile workloads, relative to Cortex-A7. It takes less than 90 mW when operating at 1 GHz (28 nm process) and uses an efficient 8-stage in-order pipeline. Products will be available in 2016.
