650-W medical supplies provide PFC, PFD

The 650-W TM650 series of ac/dc switching power supplies, approved to UL 60601-1, CSA C22.2 No. 601.1, EN 60601-1 medical standards, feature power fail detect (PFD), PFC, remote inhibit, remote sense, overvoltage, overcurrent, and thermal protection. The series includes 20 standard models of single to triple outputs of 650 to 700–W continuous power at 50–cfm forced air.

The supplies offer 4,000 Vac input to output withstand voltage, 1,500 Vac from input to ground, and 500 Vac from output to ground. The earth leakage current is 90 µA at 115 Vac/60 Hz or 150 µA at 230 Vac/50 Hz typ. Operating at a 90 to 264-Vac universal input, the series has a power factor of 0.98 typ.
