The VRG8691/92 HiRel family voltage regulator with a 7.5-A adjustable positive regulator, and an adjustable 1.0 to 3.3-V output. It supplies power to FPGA, microprocessor, ASIC, and memory chipsets for space applications.
The voltage regulator features a dropout voltage of < 0.5 V, internal current limit protection, and a controllable power-up sequence with enable input and slow-start capability. It also provides 100 krads(Si) total dose and a –55° to 125°C operating temperature. It is available in through-hole and surface-mount package styles. ($4,195 ea/100 — available now.)
