7 W TRIAC dimmable PFC buck LED driver

This design example report is a 7 W TRIAC dimmable, high efficiency, power factor corrected, non-isolated buck LED driver employing LYTSwitch™-3 LYT3315D. It operates in an input voltage ranging from 90 VAC to 132 VAC and delivers an output of 42 V at 165 mA. This design features combined single-stage conversion, high energy efficiency, low component count for compact PCB solution, leading-edge and trailing-edge TRIAC dimmable, and integrated protection features.
