8-bit ADC offers multiple channels

The EV8AQ160CTPY A/D converter features four separate digitally programmable 8-bit 1.25-Gsample/s ADC channels and offers data conversion rates of 1.25, 2.5, and 5 Gsamples/s. Features include a 4 x 4 crosspoint switch, an SPI interface, over 1,000 operating modes, and dynamic performances of 52-dBc SFDR, 48-dB SNR, and 7.5-bit ENOB operating in four-channel mode at 1.25 Gsamples/s.

Power consumption is 980 mW per channel with 3.3-V (analog) and 1.8-V (outputs, digital) power supplies. Inputs are differential (50 Ω) dc coupled with a selectable analog input voltage swing (500 or 625 mVp-p), and outputs are differential (50 Ω) LVDS compatible with DDR for output clock speed flexibility.
