The PIC18F66K80 series of 8-bit CAN microcontrollers feature 1.8 to 5.5-V operation and a sleep current of less than 20 nA. They also provide one ECAN port, a 12-bit A/D converter, and an mTouch capacitive touch-sensing interface.
The MCUs have a low-power 300-nA watchdog timer, run-mode currents down to 3.8 µA, and come in 44- and 64-pin TQFP and QFN packages. They have an 8 x 8 single-cycle hardware multiplier, 32 or 64 Kbytes of flash and 3.6 Kbytes of SRAM, plus a 1-Kbyte EEPROM. (From $1.84 ea/10,000 — samples available now.)
