The 8-bit LC87F2708A Easy Micon series microcontroller has 8 Kbytes of flash, a seven-channel 12-bit A/D converter, and dual 40-MHz counter/oscillators. The chip needs only 4.9 mA at full speed and comes in a small 14-pin 4.4 x 8.0 x 1.7-mm MPF package.
In the hold mode, the IC takes just 20 nA. It has 512 bytes of RAM, a continuous or specific count PWM output, a ten level vector interrupt, a watchdog timer, and an SIO interface. ($3.50 ea/sample qty — samples available now.)
