8-bit MCU operates at up to 140°C ambient

The XC886 HOT microcontroller works in environments with ambient temperature of –40° to 140°C. The IC comes in a TQFP48 package and has 24 or 32 Kbytes of flash, plus CAN, LIN, and SPI interfaces.

The MCU comes with a 1.5-µs 10-bit A/D converter, a 16-bit vector computer (CORDIC and multiple divide unit) supporting field-oriented control, and a capture/compare unit with two independent 16-bit timers. ($3.08 ea/20,000 — available now.)
