8-bit MCUs have 12 channels of 12-bit A/D

The 78K0/Kx2-A flash 8-bit microcontroller series features enhanced analog functionality and targets battery-operated portable devices and building automation. The devices include up to 12 channels of 12-bit A/D conversion, three op amps, and 16 or 32 Kbytes of flash.

The MCUs have UART, I2C, and CSI/SPI serial interfaces, 8- and 16-bit event timers, clock generators, and a real-time counter with clock and calendar functions. They come in 30-pin SSOP and 48-pin QFP packages. (From $1.65 ea/10,000 — production July.)
