The iC-MFL is an integrated, eight-channel level shifter for driving logic FETs. Its output stages switch to a predefined safe state when a single error occurs. The device is qualified for typical SIL/ASIL applications according to AEC Q100.
Typical applications are driving FETs from 1.8-, 3.3-, or 5–V TTL- and CMOS-compatible systems such as FPGAs, modern microcontrollers, and microprocessors with fail-safe requirements. The inputs of the eight channels are compatible with TTL and CMOS levels and consist of a Schmitt trigger with a pull-down current source. The devices operate from –40°C to 125°C.
